Even though the big fight between Ronnie and Situation was a bit of a letdown, we all thought it was going to be a knock-down drag-out brawl for a couple of days and that has to count for something right?

Situation thought it would be a good idea to smack his own head against a concrete wall in an attempt to hype himself up, scare Ronnie or at the very least get some ratings (my money is on option No.3). The actual fight was over pretty quickly and it didn't look as if either Ronnie or Situation landed and serious blows to one another.
Despite that, I have to give credit where credit is due, Situation stood up to Ronnie and actually registered the KO in the fight, albeit on himself. Pauly D said it best when he noted that he doesn't believe neither Situation nor Ronnie can really fight.
After the fight, Sammi, who is quickly becoming the most tired act in all of reality television, will not stop instigating and prodding away at Ronnie, leading to him continuing to freak out and admitting to her that he has been calling girls the whole time in Italy.

JWoww (in one of her less-flattering moments) attempts to calm Ronnie down and play peacemaker, but once again Sammi simply will not butt out.
The crew quickly, and responsibly I might note, calls an ambulance for Situation, fearing he may have seriously hurt himself.
As Pauly D accompanies Situation to the hospital, Snooki reveals her dark history with concussions. She admits that she has gotten several concussions in the past from cheerleading and of course, from getting blacked out drunk and falling down.
Ronnie, realizing for the millionth time that his relationship with Sammi is toxic, decides to break it off with her and begins to pack his things to go home, but Vinny convinces him to stay.

A quiet and somber Pauly D returns to the house and informs the crew that Situation will be just fine and only suffered a minor concussion and a neck sprain. The biggest blow is that Sitch will not be able to GTL for about a week. What a disaster!

Ronnie makes the rounds and apologizes to everyone in the house before embarking on a solo Ronnie day to clear his head. Naturally the first place he goes is to the gym.
The house slowly returns to normal (or as normal as a house with this group can be) and Situation returns home sporting a neck brace and sunglasses.
Snooki and Jionni share a private phone conversation and Snooki tells the world that she loves to talk dirty on the phone and takes things fast in a relationship whereas Jionni is much slower and more private about his life.
Sammi decides to return everything Ronnie has ever given her and apologizes to Situation for causing the all-out brawl and sending him to the hospital. Better late than never right?
Situation admits that he feels alienated and alone in the house and that no one has tried to comfort or console him in his time of need. In fact, JWoww jokes that he looks like he is about to make an insurance claim (which is pretty true). This leads to Situation showing off his acting chops and fake crying for the camera.
Ronnie, ever the adult, takes all of the stuff Sammi placed on his bed and throws it into the garbage can. At least he apologizes to Situation for sort-of putting him in the hospital.

The boys and girls go their separate ways that night, with the ladies having a quiet dinner and the guys heading to a club to creep.
At the club, Pauly D gets into a bit of a tiff with a local. In my opinion, this little shouting match was a little unwarranted and was a result of the language barrier. Basically the guy who approached Pauly was saying "What are you doing?" and Pauly took it as offensive because he did not understand him. The local then decides to threaten Pauly by telling him he's "in the streets of Florence." Ooh what a big scare!
Back home Situation and Snooki make peace over the whole cheating on Jionni fiasco although Situation still doesn't believe Snooki and Jionni are meant for each other.
Ronnie spurns a girl who is aggressively hitting on him at the club and opts to bring Sammi roses in an attempt to "move on." Confused? Yeah, I am too.
Sammi takes the roses with a puzzled look on her face and questions Ronnie's motives (a natural reaction) and Ronnie swiftly snatches them back and throws them into the garbage can, which is conveniently placed next to his room.

All-in-all, the house seems to be in a relatively normal place. Who would have thought the long-overdue fight between Ronnie and Situation would have brought peace to our favorite guidos and guidettes?
